Position Summary:

This role is crucial for maintaining the quality of our products through the implementation of inspection protocols for mechanical parts, subassemblies, and completed goods, which range from compact metal enclosures to large-scale modular structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ongoing inspections of mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products.
  • Conduct audits of metal forming, fabrication, and mechanical assembly processes.
  • Document quality standards and specifications related to metal fabrication and assembly, collaborating with quality management to standardize and train personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with approved methods and drawings during all work processes.
  • Record material non-conformances identified during inspections of work in progress, finished goods, and receiving inspections.
  • Work with safety, engineering, and manufacturing teams to enhance design for manufacturability, aiming to minimize waste and improve product functionality.
  • Verify that product designs adhere to regulatory, commercial codes, customer specifications, engineering standards, and company policies.
  • Assist in the execution of the tool calibration program, focusing on mechanical inspection equipment to ensure all tools are calibrated and functioning correctly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Willingness to undergo background and drug testing.
  • Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High-level analytical skills and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Capacity to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back is required.
  • Knowledge of materials used in metal component and structure fabrication.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • At least five years of experience in metal fabrication manufacturing and/or quality inspection roles.
  • Experience with modular building construction, standalone metal structures, and electrical enclosures is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel; familiarity with scheduling software is a plus.

Compensation:

The compensation for this position ranges from $23 to $27 per hour, with Restricted Stock Units included in all offers. The final compensation will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment.
