Position SummaryUnder general oversight, this role involves managing projects of moderate complexity that significantly impact the organization. Responsibilities include conducting analyses and feasibility assessments, setting project objectives, negotiating timelines, and formulating comprehensive project plans.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee moderately complex projects, conduct research, and track progress on initiatives.
• Ensure deliverables align with PacifiCorp's Project Governance and Standards.
• Analyze and propose enhancements to technical processes and procedures.
• Communicate project goals, parameters, status updates, and outcomes effectively to stakeholders.
• Assess and define critical tasks through skill evaluation.
• Monitor and manage project budgets diligently.
• Establish project objectives, develop plans, negotiate timelines, and track progress against established benchmarks.
• Engage in discussions with regulators and external stakeholders on behalf of PacifiCorp.
• Collaborate with Procurement in negotiations with vendors and clients.
• Facilitate interactions between customers and the project team.
• Provide support to integration and technical support teams related to the SAP environment.
• Guide team efforts, offering direction and support to team members while communicating project objectives and outcomes.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of experience in project management.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret regulatory requirements and define essential tasks, timelines, and outcomes.
• Proficient project management skills to develop and oversee work agreements and budgets, as well as define deliverables.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate teamwork and provide guidance.
• Financial modeling expertise to assess project costs and benefits and track outcomes.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, company operations, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Experience with SAP for cost tracking and forecasting.
• PMP Certification.
This position is classified as exempt and is eligible for a discretionary performance incentive bonus based on salary.
