Role Overview
The Product Marketing team is tasked with crafting clear, distinctive, and engaging positioning and messaging for AWS and its offerings. As a Product Marketing Manager focused on Serverless and Kubernetes within Developer Experience, you will have the chance to shape and implement the marketing and go-to-market strategies for leading services such as AWS Lambda, Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), AWS Fargate, AWS Step Functions, and Amazon EventBridge.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Lead the creation and execution of marketing strategies, messaging, content, campaigns, and thought leadership for AWS's modern computing services, specifically in Serverless and Container technologies.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to translate key functionalities and advantages into effective product marketing messages.
  • Develop engaging, audience-specific messages, content, and tools, including presentations, whitepapers, infographics, webinars, customer success stories, product videos, and how-to guides.
  • Partner with various service and cross-functional AWS teams to create and implement joint messaging, content, campaigns, and events.
  • Design and execute innovative product marketing initiatives that effectively reach target audiences.
  • Manage website and social media content.
  • Work collaboratively across AWS with groups such as engineering, digital marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists to meet business objectives.
  • Oversee service and feature launches as necessary, driving awareness and adoption of new releases.

The product marketing team is dedicated to producing compelling positioning and marketing content to support product launches and campaigns aimed at enhancing awareness and adoption of cloud computing services. We prioritize developing high-quality marketing assets, including websites, videos, success stories, blogs, presentations, and sales enablement tools. Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional marketing experience
- Experience in partnership and product marketing
- Proficiency in using data and metrics to assess impact and identify improvements
- Background in software, SaaS, or DevOps, or 2+ years of post-MBA management consulting experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience presenting ideas to various organizational levels to gain support for initiatives
- Proven track record of managing large-scale cross-functional programs
- Proficiency in Excel or Tableau for data manipulation and analysis
- MBA with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a STEM field.
