Job Title: Member Glow Specialist

BAOBOB Directory seeks a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Member Glow Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and scheduling member satisfaction projects, identifying and securing new business members to join our network, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Membership Sales: Generate and pursue qualified business leads to drive membership growth.
  • Member Care: Understand and implement our mission and strategy for top-tier members, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Social Media: Help foster member engagement and manage expectations through effective social media management.
  • Team Meetings: Attend and provide weekly updates to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Project Management Support: Integrate CRM and project management software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Research and Development: Establish, document, and maintain authoritative knowledge on Oakland's small business economy.
  • Attend events hosted by BAOBOB Directory and its members as scheduled.
Compensation and Requirements:

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • 20 hours monthly at $19/hr (additional hours with approval)
  • 10% commission on new membership income (sales) after 30-day orientation

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • AA or minimum 2 years of college
  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • Proficiency with project management software (Zoho or similar)
  • Proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
