Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
  • Formulate and execute the strategic vision and operational plan to fulfill the mission of providing equitable employment opportunities. This includes collaborating with the Board of Directors to optimize organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop, maintain, and regularly present a comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve financial objectives.
  • Engage with local entities, governmental bodies, and various stakeholders to foster positive outcomes for job seekers and the organization.
  • Serve as the primary representative of the organization among key community partners to enhance visibility and promote our mission.
  • Oversee the establishment and management of community partnership agreements.
  • Create a supportive work environment that attracts and retains top talent, emphasizing staff development and morale.
  • Provide guidance to the Operations Manager to ensure effective team management and retention.
  • Continuously refine programs, policies, and organizational culture to promote growth.
Fundraising and Financial Oversight:
  • In collaboration with the Board's financial committee, manage the financial strategy to ensure sustainability and healthy cash flow.
  • Implement robust internal controls.
  • Oversee donor management systems and reporting processes.
  • Explore diverse funding avenues, including grants, events, and corporate partnerships.
  • Actively cultivate relationships with individual donors and identify grant opportunities.
  • Lead the planning and execution of fundraising events, ensuring maximum return on investment.
  • Enhance awareness of Equitable Hiring Group through targeted campaigns and events to engage volunteers and donors.
Operations:
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to develop and implement scalable operational strategies that comply with relevant regulations.
  • Ensure the long-term success of all operational initiatives.
  • Oversee major operational projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Board of Directors.

  • Proven experience as a CEO or in a senior leadership role managing a substantial budget.
