Job Opportunity

Skurnik Wines & Spirits is a leading provider of fine wines and spirits, renowned for its exceptional service and hospitality. We are seeking a skilled Sales Representative to expand our business in the wholesale industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers through face-to-face interactions and communication.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of Skurnik Wines' portfolio of wines and spirits from around the world, utilizing this expertise to establish successful sales.
  • Utilize internal operating systems to effectively follow company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Management to facilitate sales opportunities.
  • Participate in market work with visiting winery suppliers.
  • Manage and report monthly expense reports in accordance with company policy.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies related to our Credit Department and the State Liquor Authority.
  • Regularly communicate with the Regional Sales Manager and Credit Department to advise of important matters.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
  • Prior sales experience in the wholesale industry is preferred, but candidates with equivalent retail and/or restaurant experience will also be considered.
  • Established market network of buyers and clientele in the region.
  • Understanding of the local marketplace and relevant competition.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and solution-focused.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Reports to the Sales Manager.
