Skurnik Wines & Spirits is a leading wine and spirits distributor seeking a skilled Sales Representative to expand our presence in Central/Northern New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Maintain Relationships
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through face-to-face visits and effective communication.
  • Product Expertise
    • Develop in-depth knowledge of Skurnik Wines' portfolio of wines and spirits from around the world.
  • Operational Efficiency
    • Learn and utilize internal operating systems to ensure seamless execution of company policies.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with Portfolio Management to facilitate sales opportunities.
    • Regularly communicate with the Regional Sales Manager and Credit Department to ensure alignment and address important matters.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Manage and report monthly expense reports in accordance with company policy.
    • Comply with all policies related to the Credit Department and State Liquor Authority.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Prior sales experience in the wholesale industry is preferred, but candidates with relevant retail and/or restaurant experience will also be considered.
  • Skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented and solution-focused.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Market Knowledge
    • Understanding of the Central/Northern New Jersey marketplace and relevant competition.
