This position requires in-office attendance for candidates within a reasonable commuting distance. It is a salaried role with compensation ranging from $145,000 to $160,000 based on experience, in addition to a discretionary bonus opportunity. Candidates requiring visa sponsorship will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of three accountants, providing support and direction.
  • Oversee cash flow management and review treasury cash summaries.
  • Evaluate the monthly cash flow projections prepared by the treasury accountant.
  • Prepare budgets, KPI reports, forecasts, and executive-level financial reports.
  • Review the General Ledger and assist in the month-end closing process.
  • Conduct account reconciliations including treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, intercompany, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and accrued liabilities.
  • Examine subsidiary ledgers and other financial records.
  • Support the operations department with monthly commission calculations and various financial tasks as needed.
  • Ensure compliance within the finance function and promote collaboration and accountability across all departments.
  • Assist with ad-hoc finance assignments as required.
  • Help develop internal controls for all accounting processes.
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments and accounting, facilitating communication with external parties such as clients, suppliers, and lenders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Experience with BIG4 or Mid-Tier firms is preferred.
  • A total of 7 to 10 years of experience, including a minimum of 3 years in audit and 4 to 5 years managing an accounting team.
  • CPA or MBA designation is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles.
  • Proven ability in financial analysis.
  • Detail-oriented with a flexible approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage growth.
  • Forward-thinking and a collaborative team player.
  • High proficiency in Excel.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is an advantage.
