Salary: $28 - $32 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage comprehensive accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and tax compliance.
  • Execute full-cycle bookkeeping, overseeing all aspects of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing processes.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of invoices and purchase orders through a 3-way match.
  • Prepare and record monthly journal entries.
  • Reconcile balance sheets, ledgers, and accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Compile monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
  • Analyze financial performance, including variance analysis, and communicate results to management.
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within the engineering sector.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and relevant regulations.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in both private and public accounting environments.
  • Ability to manage accounts receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, and full-cycle bookkeeping effectively.
  • Exceptional analytical and numerical abilities.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Capability to interpret and analyze financial statements.
  • Experience in managing intercompany transactions and corporate consolidation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
