POSITION: Retirement Plan Assistant
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time
LOCATION: In-office
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit Plan Administrators with processing loans and distribution requests, including force outs.
- Draft and prepare plan amendments and termination amendments.
- Import census data using DATAIR software.
- Compile and package annual valuations.
- Prepare 1099Rs and utilize the Form 5500 Checklist.
- Engage with clients to gather census and asset data.
- Review and verify client census data for accuracy.
Manage and prioritize tasks to ensure high-quality client service for your assigned plan block. Proactively monitor the status of assigned plans' periodic activities, including compliance testing, 5500 filings, quarterly statements, and Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs).
Safeguard all confidential information held by PRC&A to prevent unauthorized access and ensure proper handling of sensitive data.
Foster effective working relationships with team members and internal departments to enhance service delivery for clients.
Communicate effectively and promptly, both verbally and in writing, to clients and financial advisors in a clear and informative manner.
Continuously expand your knowledge of retirement plan regulations and the services offered by PRC&A.

- 0 to 2 years of experience in pension administration or a related field

- Able to thrive under pressure while managing multiple priorities and deadlines with meticulous attention to detail
