POSITION: Retirement Plan Associate

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time

LOCATION: In-office

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in processing loans and distribution requests, including forced distributions.
  • Draft plan amendments and termination modifications.
  • Import census data using DATAIR software.
  • Compile annual valuation packages.
  • Prepare 1099R forms.
  • Utilize the Form 5500 Checklist for compliance.
  • Engage with clients to gather census and asset data.
  • Review and verify client census information.

Manage a variety of plans including 401(k), Profit Sharing, Defined Benefit, Cash Balance, and Combo plans.

Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure high-quality client service within your assigned plan block.

Proactively monitor the status of assigned plans to meet client commitments, including compliance testing, 5500 filings, quarterly statements, and Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs).

Ensure the protection and confidentiality of all sensitive data managed by PRC&A to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.

Foster productive working relationships with team members and internal departments to enhance client service delivery.

Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and financial advisors.

Continuously expand your knowledge of retirement plan regulations and PRC&A's operational practices.

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in pension administration or a related field.
  • Familiarity with DATAIR and/or ASC software is advantageous.

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Able to thrive under pressure while managing multiple priorities and deadlines, with a keen attention to detail.
