POSITION: Retirement Plan Coordinator

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in managing loan and distribution requests, including forced distributions.
  • Draft and prepare plan amendments and termination documents.
  • Import census data using DATAIR software.
  • Compile annual valuation packages.
  • Prepare and issue 1099R forms.
  • Utilize the Form 5500 Checklist for compliance.
  • Engage with clients to gather census and asset data.
  • Review and verify client census information.

This role encompasses a variety of plans, including 401(k), Profit Sharing, Defined Benefit, Cash Balance, and Combo plans.

Effectively prioritize tasks and manage time to deliver high-quality service to your designated plan block.

Ensure that commitments to clients are fulfilled by proactively monitoring the status of assigned plans' periodic activities, including compliance testing, Form 5500 submissions, quarterly statements, and Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs).

Safeguard all confidential information managed by PRC&A to prevent unauthorized access and disclosure that could jeopardize the firm or its clients.

Foster productive working relationships with team members and internal departments to enhance client service delivery.

Communicate effectively and promptly, both verbally and in writing, to clients and financial advisors in a clear and informative manner.

Continuously develop a comprehensive understanding of retirement plan regulations and the services offered by PRC&A.
