Position Summary:

As an Outdoor Furniture Sales Executive focusing on the multifamily sector, your main role will be to promote and sell our outdoor furniture solutions to multifamily developers and property management firms. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to deliver customized outdoor furniture options that enhance the aesthetic and functionality of outdoor living areas for residents in multifamily communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development: Identify and engage multifamily developers and property management companies as potential clients. Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and surpass revenue goals. Maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities within the multifamily sector.
  2. Product Expertise: Develop a thorough understanding of the outdoor furniture products and solutions available. Stay updated on trends in outdoor design, materials, and functionality relevant to the multifamily housing market.
  3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in multifamily development and property management. Conduct site assessments to understand the outdoor space requirements and design preferences of multifamily projects.
  4. Customization and Solution Selling: Work with clients to tailor outdoor furniture solutions that enhance the overall appeal of multifamily communities. Present and demonstrate product offerings, highlighting key features and benefits.
  5. Proposal Development and Negotiation: Prepare comprehensive proposals, quotes, and presentations for multifamily clients. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to ensure client satisfaction and profitability.
  6. Collaboration: Partner with internal design and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery of outdoor furniture solutions. Collaborate with marketing to develop materials and campaigns targeting the multifamily sector.
  7. Market Research: Keep abreast of market trends and competitor offerings within the outdoor furniture segment of the multifamily housing industry. Provide insights on emerging opportunities and challenges in the market.
  8. Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and deal status. Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and strategic opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in outdoor furniture sales, particularly within the multifamily housing sector.
  • Strong understanding of outdoor design trends, materials, and furniture functionality.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Experience with cold calling and managing warm leads is highly desirable.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to effectively close deals.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple leads and meet deadlines.
