The Customer Loadout Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of products for customers while delivering outstanding service. This position contributes to the overall sales performance by participating in the supply chain process, ensuring that customer needs are met promptly.

Compensation: Starting pay is $16 per hour. We provide competitive pay and weekly compensation to all team members.

Position Type: This is a part-time role only. While not guaranteed, there is potential for this position to transition to full-time based on availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a company-approved safety knife.
  • Adhere to asset protection policies and actively prevent fraud.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of proper lifting techniques.
  • Utilize hand trucks effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
  • Manually handle furniture and merchandise to and from various locations.

Job Expectations:

  • Commit to safety policies and promote awareness among team members.
  • Greet customers in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Wrap, load, and secure merchandise into customer vehicles without causing damage.
  • Ensure customers receive the correct items.
  • Inspect rental vehicles and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Uncrate and prepare merchandise for inspection as needed.
  • Utilize radio frequency (RF) scanners.
  • Read and interpret reports, tickets, and UPC labels.
  • Safely remove sold merchandise from the sales floor for loading.
  • Assist other departments as business needs allow.
  • Exhibit initiative in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, including availability for all shifts, holidays, and weekends.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • All necessary training will be provided.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to navigate confined and sometimes congested areas.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.
  • Lift, lower, push, and pull merchandise weighing up to 100 lbs. regularly, with the ability to handle up to 250 lbs. as needed.
  • Engage in lifting, gripping, bending, kneeling, and moving merchandise for extended durations.

Work Environment:

  • Fluorescent lighting.
  • Concrete flooring.
  • Climate influenced by external conditions.
  • Considerable exterior noise.
  • Exposure to temperature fluctuations in the warehouse.

A pre-employment drug screening and background check will be required upon job offer.
