The Customer Loadout Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring that merchandise is loaded and unloaded from customer vehicles in a safe and efficient manner while delivering outstanding customer service. This position contributes to sales success by being an integral part of the supply chain, ensuring that customer needs are met promptly.
Starting compensation is $16 per hour. We provide competitive pay and weekly earnings to all our Team Members.
This role is strictly part-time. While not guaranteed, there is potential for this position to transition to full-time based on performance and availability.
Job Responsibilities:
Safely operate a company-approved safety knife. Adhere to asset protection policies and actively prevent fraud. Understand and apply proper lifting techniques. Operate and utilize a hand truck effectively. Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times. Manually handle furniture and merchandise, ensuring safe transport to and from various locations.Job Expectations:
Uphold safety policies and promote safety awareness. Greet customers in a prompt and professional manner. Wrap, load, and secure merchandise into customer vehicles without causing damage. Confirm that customers receive the correct items. Inspect rental vehicles and complete necessary documentation. Uncrate and prepare merchandise for inspection as needed. Operate a radio frequency (RF) scanner. Read and interpret reports, tickets, and UPC labels accurately. Efficiently remove sold merchandise from the sales floor for loading. Assist other departments when business needs allow. Exhibit initiative in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment. Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate all shifts, including weekends and holidays. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. All necessary training will be provided.Physical Requirements:
Ability to navigate confined and sometimes congested areas. Stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods. Constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back. Lift, lower, push, and pull merchandise weighing up to 100 lbs frequently, with the ability to handle up to 250 lbs as needed. Engage in lifting, gripping, bending, kneeling, and moving merchandise for extended periods.Work Environment:
Fluorescent lighting conditions. Concrete flooring. Climate influenced by external weather conditions. Exposure to considerable exterior noise. Experience extreme temperature variations in the warehouse.A pre-employment drug screening and background check will be required upon job offer.
