  • Greet and engage customers entering the department in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Assess customer needs related to outdoor products and provide relevant information to facilitate informed buying decisions.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge through available resources, including brochures and training sessions.
  • Maintain awareness of promotional items, pricing structures, and current sales initiatives.
  • Adhere to all training and selling skill guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Service Department to ensure seamless delivery of products to customers.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of all sensitive customer information.
  • Prepare the showroom daily, ensuring proper signage and cleanliness of products.
  • Manage leads and prospects using the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, documenting customer interactions and follow-ups.
  • Participate in special events and promotions as needed.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork associated with the sales process accurately.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets based on various factors including employment status and historical performance.
  • Maintain a clean and professional workspace.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate discounts and percentages.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to interact professionally and courteously with customers and colleagues.
  • Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
  • Other Skills: Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
  • Proficient in operating computer systems and Point of Sale registers.

Additional Duties: May perform other tasks and assignments as needed, including temporary roles in different areas of the store.
