Job Overview

As an Account Manager focusing on the interior design sector, your main role will be to enhance sales of our premium outdoor furniture products to interior designers and design firms.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales and Business Development: Identify and engage with potential clients in the interior design industry. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and surpass revenue goals while maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  2. Product Expertise: Acquire in-depth knowledge of our outdoor furniture offerings. Stay updated on the latest trends in outdoor design and materials that resonate with the interior design market.
  3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in design firms. Conduct site assessments to understand project requirements and provide tailored outdoor furniture solutions.
  4. Customization and Solution Selling: Collaborate with clients to create customized outdoor furniture solutions that elevate their projects. Present our product offerings, highlighting unique features and benefits.
  5. Proposal Development and Negotiation: Prepare comprehensive proposals and presentations for clients. Negotiate terms and pricing to ensure satisfaction and profitability.
  6. Collaboration: Work alongside internal teams to ensure the smooth execution and delivery of furniture solutions. Partner with marketing to develop targeted materials for the interior design sector.
  7. Market Research: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities within the outdoor furniture market. Provide insights on emerging opportunities and challenges.
  8. Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions. Analyze sales data to identify improvement areas and strategic opportunities.
Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of outdoor design trends and furniture functionality.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to foster and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Experience in cold calling and managing warm leads is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills to effectively close deals.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients through a customer-centric approach.
  • Experience in a lifestyle brand is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple leads and deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
