About Aves Construction

Aves Construction is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Coordinate and manage construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Site Supervision: Oversee construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of construction workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to complete projects successfully.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other contractors.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems that may arise during construction projects, ensuring they are resolved quickly and efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all construction work meets the highest quality standards, including adherence to building codes, regulations, and company policies.
  • Safety Management: Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all construction workers.
  • Budgeting: Manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and projects are completed within budget.
  • Reporting: Provide regular project updates to management, including progress reports, budget updates, and any issues that may arise.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship or Green Card: Must be a US citizen or green card holder to work in secure facilities.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience as a construction foreman or in a similar role.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of construction workers. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications. Strong knowledge of construction best practices, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Language: Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
