Key ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting on-site inspections to verify compliance with project requirements.
- Documenting daily activities and preparing comprehensive reports for review.
- Collaborating with the Resident Engineer to address any discrepancies or issues that arise during construction.
- Maintaining a detailed diary of construction activities and contractor performance.
- Monitoring safety protocols and ensuring adherence to established procedures.
- Engaging in regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss project progress and safety measures.
- Evaluating construction materials for compliance with design specifications.
- Facilitating effective communication between contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies.
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- A High School Diploma or GED; a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is a plus.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in construction inspection or related fields.
- Relevant certifications such as OSHA 10 hr. and ACI Level I.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to maintain insurability under company policies.
