Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting on-site inspections to verify compliance with project requirements.
  • Documenting daily activities and preparing comprehensive reports for review.
  • Collaborating with the Resident Engineer to address any discrepancies or issues that arise during construction.
  • Maintaining a detailed diary of construction activities and contractor performance.
  • Monitoring safety protocols and ensuring adherence to established procedures.
  • Engaging in regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss project progress and safety measures.
  • Evaluating construction materials for compliance with design specifications.
  • Facilitating effective communication between contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or GED; a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is a plus.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in construction inspection or related fields.
  • Relevant certifications such as OSHA 10 hr. and ACI Level I.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to maintain insurability under company policies.
