Job Description

**Job Summary**

Vantage Construction Corp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent - Base Building Construction Project Manager to lead our construction projects from start to finish. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Assist in developing project mobilization plans, review plans and specifications for scope and constructability, and coordinate with internal project management teams.
  • Site Management: Develop and maintain harmonious relations with owner representatives, subcontractors, vendors, and jurisdictional inspectors, and ensure that all site activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all construction work meets the highest quality standards, and that all necessary documentation is produced, including two-week look-ahead schedules, as-built drawings, and daily construction reports.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of field personnel and subcontractors, and ensure that all team members are working together effectively to achieve project goals.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, and make sound and accurate judgments to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Minimum 5 years of industry experience, with a strong background in base building commercial construction.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong knowledge of project management software, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications and Training: OSHA certification, First Aid/CPR certification, and a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
