Position Summary:

Kikiktagruk Inupiat Corporation is seeking a skilled Foreman to oversee and coordinate all activities on-site, ensuring that operations adhere to the established timeline.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify that all necessary materials are procured and delivered to the job site ahead of schedule.
  • Address and resolve issues with team members, subcontractors, and general contractors.
  • Ensure systems are installed in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Safely operate a variety of construction tools and machinery.
  • Manage material handling equipment operations.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and foster positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Complete all mandatory training related to company policies, contracts, and safety protocols.
  • Assess crew performance and conduct evaluations as needed.
  • Maintain consistent communication with the site Superintendent and Project Manager.
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and timely.
  • Identify and rectify any deficiencies in work quality.
  • Enforce performance standards in line with job specifications, safety regulations, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Uphold a safe working environment with a strong commitment to safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction as a skilled laborer or equivalent role.
  • Proven experience in installing systems according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage crews effectively.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous learning.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
  • Must pass and maintain a government background check and site access requirements.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • OSHA 30-Hour certification is advantageous.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required; CDL is preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Construction sites, laboratories, etc.

Physical Requirements:

  • Visual acuity, ability to stand, sit, lift, and perform other physical tasks.
