Position Overview:

The Head of Strategic Partnerships will play a crucial role in fostering and nurturing client relationships while identifying, pursuing, and securing sales for TransPerfect's Gaming Solutions portfolio. This includes services such as game localization, quality assurance, art design/production, player support, and AI/MT. The ideal candidate will possess a background in consultative sales, particularly with a focus on engaging gaming organizations and corporations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential clients through various strategies, including online research, industry events, referrals, and professional networks.
  • Acquire and close new business opportunities through networking, cold outreach, and participation in industry events.
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships by providing exceptional service and leveraging industry knowledge.
  • Create and implement a sales strategy to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
  • Conduct daily outreach to prospective clients to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Manage the sales process effectively, ensuring each phase is executed with precision.
  • Articulate TransPerfect's comprehensive suite of services, highlighting benefits and competitive advantages, while identifying opportunities for collaboration with specialized teams.
  • Set and manage client expectations, offering best practice consultations.
  • Oversee pricing and contractual negotiations.
  • Travel as necessary for client meetings and industry conferences.

Required Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-7 years of sales experience within the gaming industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing the global sales lifecycle, from lead generation to closing deals with top-tier gaming companies.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
