Position Overview:
We are in search of a Senior Vice President (SVP) of Media Strategy to lead our centralized earned media team. This pivotal role involves managing a team of over 10 media specialists across multiple locations, providing strategic counsel and expertise in media outreach for a diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Oversee the growth and management of a bi-coastal team, ensuring effective execution of both short-term and long-term media strategies.
- Strategic Guidance: Provide high-level strategic direction to internal account teams and clients, fostering innovative approaches to media campaigns.
- Media Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with national and local media outlets, enhancing our clients' visibility and engagement.
- Innovation and Results: Inspire creativity within the team to develop compelling narratives and media strategies that resonate with target audiences.
- Performance Tracking: Collaborate with agency leaders to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for media initiatives, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in media relations or public relations, demonstrating a history of driving impactful results.
- A robust network of media contacts across various industries.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven leadership experience with a focus on mentoring and team development.
- Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas effectively.

Compensation:
