The Software Enterprise Sales team at Motorola Solutions, Inc. specializes in delivering cutting-edge software applications for Citizen Engagement, 9-1-1 Call Handling, Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management, Jail Management, Public Service 311, and analytics tailored for the Public Safety and Public Service sectors. Our unparalleled expertise and technology enable us to provide comprehensive public safety solutions and mission-critical communication systems.

Job Description
The Regional Software Sales Manager will collaborate closely with Territory Vice Presidents (TVPs) and Area Sales Managers (ASMs) to drive sales growth, enhance territory penetration, and optimize the product portfolio through effective account management and partner engagement. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the strategic direction for the MR Software Sales in the Western region and overseeing daily operations through MRs, TVPs, ASMs, and Account Executives.
  • Developing, maintaining, and executing the programmatic components of the MR Program in partnership with North America Sales Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Channel Operations Teams, ensuring compliance and execution from the combined Software/SaaS Teams.
  • Engaging with key MRs and the MSI Field Sales Team to foster a unified approach toward achieving our growth objectives, which encompass order and revenue increases, account assignments, partner performance, geographic coverage, quoting, and overall performance against targets.

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Understanding of MR/Channel Strategy and Operations.
  • Experience in Channel Sales and established relationships.
  • Familiarity with the Government Purchasing Process.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in leveraging data analysis to align resources with market opportunities and formulate strategic plans.
  • Demonstrated success in progressively responsible roles.

Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000. Our comprehensive U.S. benefits package includes:
