Role Responsibilities:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be instrumental in enhancing production methodologies by evaluating products and manufacturing techniques. Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing product specifications to devise suitable designs and processes that align with customer expectations. You will collaborate with various teams to develop, test, and refine solutions.

Key Duties Include:

  • Creating Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) that encompass assembly guidelines, workflow/routing, labor standards, and tool/fixture designs.
  • Providing ongoing support to manufacturing operations through process troubleshooting and the integration of engineering modifications into MDPs.
  • Conducting root cause analysis and corrective action for non-conforming materials as necessary.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance cycle times, mitigate ergonomic risks, automate processes, and reduce costs using Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Offering immediate technical assistance to manufacturing personnel and suppliers.
  • Developing tools and fixtures to enhance ergonomic practices within processes.
  • Leading investigations into corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Qualifications Required:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in engineering or manufacturing settings.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience with CAD solid modeling tools, preferably CREO/ProE.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
  • Innovative mindset focused on continuous improvement and adapting to technological advancements.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentation capabilities.
  • Familiarity with automated tooling and programming.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation for this role ranges from 64,000 USD to 128,000 USD, reflective of various factors including experience and qualifications. Hired candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
