Position Overview
L3Harris Technologies is in search of a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Camden, Arkansas.
This role involves implementing moderate enhancements or improvements to systems and processes aimed at resolving issues or increasing the efficiency of the operational area.
- Obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge in the field and practical experience in project management.
- Manage projects or processes under general supervision.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts to clarify and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures.
- Propose enhancements to systems and processes.
- Strive to meet operational objectives for specific programs and projects, impacting departmental outcomes moderately.
- May oversee entire projects or processes within the designated area.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training to colleagues within the operational area.
- May oversee project management responsibilities, including delegating tasks and reviewing the work of others.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant manufacturing experience, or a Graduate Degree with 0 to 2 years of experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 6 years of relevant manufacturing experience may substitute for a degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with contacts both within and outside the department.
- May occasionally engage with external parties such as customers and vendors.
- Ability to explain and interpret processes and procedures to others in and outside the operational area.
- Capable of justifying and securing cooperation regarding processes, practices, and procedures.
