Rightway Home Care Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant IHS/ILS Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals with disabilities by providing administrative and operational assistance to the IHS Coordinator.

As an Assistant IHS/ILS Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth program operations, managing client intake processes, and facilitating staff training and development. Your commitment to excellence and attention to detail will contribute significantly to enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage 245D paperwork for client intakes, meetings, and files.
  • Conduct onboarding, shadowing, and training sessions for new hires.
  • Deliver comprehensive training to staff on 245D compliance, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide direct support to clients as needed when staffing is limited.
  • Organize and facilitate monthly mandatory meetings with staff and the IHS Coordinator.
  • Monitor and track staff hours accurately.
  • Conduct regular file audits of case notes, goal tracking, client files, and staff files to ensure compliance.
  • Track and audit paperwork for client and staff meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their teams, and your supervisor on a regular basis.
  • Report staffing needs to the IHS Coordinator promptly.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality for all clients at all times.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Responsibility for completing assigned tasks and following up as needed.
Work Environment:
  • Business casual attire is expected.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Respectful use of cell phones during office hours is encouraged.
  • COVID-19 vaccination is required with proof.
Travel Requirements:
  • Travel for intake meetings may be necessary.
  • Occasional travel to clients' residences may be required.
  • A valid driver's license and insurance are essential.
  • Maintain a clean driving record with no major violations (DUI, Careless, Reckless, Suspended license, etc.).
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Ability to pass a DHS background study.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of experience in direct support services.
  • One year of experience in ILS/IHS programs.
  • 245D experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
