Position Overview: Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges? Ideal candidates will have a background in Adult Foster Care, Independent Living Skills (ILS), or residential mental health treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct support services to clients diagnosed with serious and persistent mental health conditions, focusing on enhancing their daily living skills and community engagement.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to establish program objectives and participate in goal-setting initiatives.
  • Conduct intake assessments and follow-up interviews to evaluate client needs.
  • Facilitate group sessions to foster peer support and share strategies for managing mental health challenges.
  • Assist clients in achieving their personal goals and navigating available resources.
  • Design and implement vocational training programs to enhance employment skills.
  • Oversee activities at the drop-in center, promoting social interaction and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide crisis intervention and assist clients in developing crisis management strategies.
  • Coordinate with case managers and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Support clients in securing and maintaining safe, affordable housing, while promoting independent living.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and service delivery to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, along with two years of relevant experience, including at least one year in community-based mental health services.
