Our carefully selected team is designed to provide the most enriching experiences for students, educators, and schools. We are a group of enthusiastic, innovative, and engaging individuals who believe in the potential of every student to enhance their school and community.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to take on the role of Youth Program Coordinator. In this capacity, you will facilitate engaging programs lasting four to six hours for groups of over 100 students from grades four through twelve. If you possess a passion for public speaking, teamwork, and motivating youth to improve their communities, Youth Frontiers could be the perfect fit for you.

  • You have a strong connection to your own childhood and can communicate effectively with young people.
  • You are deeply committed to youth development and have a genuine desire to positively influence young lives.
  • You bring enthusiasm and vibrancy to large gatherings and are willing to embrace a playful approach to create an inviting atmosphere.
  • You excel at building rapport with individuals, whether in intimate settings or larger groups, including both youth and adults.
  • You are inquisitive and courageous, dedicated to your own growth and development.
  • You have pursued or intend to pursue higher education, or possess relevant experience and skills that enable you to engage with diverse audiences effectively.
  • You are open to traveling overnight, approximately 40-60 days throughout the academic year.
  • While you may not be able to leap tall buildings, you can lift and manage 50 lbs with ease.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working with youth in a professional capacity.
  • Background in public speaking or performance arts.
  • Musical talents, such as playing an instrument or vocal performance skills, are a plus.
  • Comfortable with spontaneous, light-hearted activities, including dance.

POSITION DETAILS:

  • Actively participate in program execution as a vital member of the program team.
  • Assist in transporting necessary equipment to various program locations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with program participants, including school personnel and volunteers.
  • Attend regular staff meetings and participate in various work-related activities, including ongoing training and special events throughout the year.
  • Fulfill other job-related responsibilities as needed.
