Overview

The Financial Operations Manager role involves overseeing our financial center operations.

The primary duty of this position is to lead and manage the operations, personnel, and performance metrics of a designated financial center. The incumbent will formulate and execute the center's sales and service strategies to ensure an exceptional customer experience, cultivate, retain, and expand profitable customer relationships within the existing clientele and the broader community, align with corporate objectives, and comply with operational risk, regulatory, and compliance standards. Level II Managers will operate in financial centers that necessitate a greater degree of complexity and scope compared to Level I Managers, with an emphasis on external business development to maximize growth and profitability for the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Organize, delegate, and assess the work of team members, conduct candidate screening and selection, provide mentorship and coaching, set individual performance targets, oversee workflow and quality, manage performance evaluations, and collaborate with Human Resources to address employment-related matters.
  • Design and implement the financial center's strategic business plan to drive the efforts of the sales and service team towards achieving set objectives for both new and existing clients, supervise the application of the sales management process, and assess individual and collective progress.
  • Establish and maintain a strong understanding of the local community, engage with individuals, small businesses, business groups, and community organizations, identify and analyze business banking opportunities, create and execute marketing strategies for financial products and services, actively participate in sales activities, and represent the organization positively within the community.
  • Oversee the execution of established internal operational processes and protocols, ensure compliance with all risk management and regulatory initiatives, evaluate the operational efficiency of the center, and implement changes to optimize efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction, while resolving escalated customer concerns.
  • Contribute to and advocate for broader corporate initiatives, consistently communicate with staff and stakeholders in support of the organization's strategic objectives, guide the center team through organizational transitions, collaborate with the commercial segment, support business planning efforts, champion cultural initiatives, and participate in relevant focus groups and task forces as needed.


Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field. (Required)

Experience

A minimum of 5 years in Banking, Financial Services, or Sales. (Required)

At least 3 years in a leadership role within Sales, Operations, or Risk Management. (Required)

Other Duties as Assigned by Manager

This role may involve additional responsibilities as assigned by management. Each employee is accountable for understanding and adhering to all company-assigned compliance programs, regulations, and policies, as well as ensuring that all compliance training is completed by the designated deadlines. This includes recognizing and addressing compliance risks within their departments and escalating any concerns to the appropriate management level.

Pay Transparency

To enhance transparency for candidates, we disclose base salary ranges in all job postings. Salary ranges are established based on the position, function, and responsibilities, benchmarked against similar organizations in our industry. Specific compensation will be determined based on various factors, including the candidate's expertise, skills, experience, and relevant credentials. Salary ranges may vary by geographic location.

The salary range for this position is $59,000 to $99,800 annually.

Additional Compensation Components

This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive compensation plan based on individual and organizational performance.
