Overview
The Financial Center Manager role is responsible for overseeing operations at our designated financial center.
The primary focus of this position is to lead and manage the operations, personnel, and performance metrics of a specific financial center. The incumbent will design and execute the center's sales and service strategies to provide an exceptional customer experience, foster, retain, and expand profitable client relationships within the existing clientele and the broader community, align with corporate objectives, and comply with operational risk, compliance, and regulatory standards. Level II Managers will operate in financial centers that demand a greater degree of complexity and scope compared to Level I Managers, with an emphasis on external business development to maximize growth and profitability for the organization.
Responsibilities
- Organize, delegate, and assess the work of team members, conduct candidate screening and selection, offer guidance and mentorship, set individual performance goals, oversee workflow and quality, manage performance evaluations, recommend compensation adjustments, and collaborate with Human Resources to address employment-related matters.
- Formulate and execute the financial center's business strategy to motivate the sales and service team in achieving set objectives for both new and existing clients, supervise the application of the organization's Sales Management Process, and assess individual and collective progress.
- Establish and nurture relationships within the local community, engage with individuals, small businesses, business groups, and community organizations, identify and explore business banking opportunities, create and implement marketing strategies for financial products and services, actively participate in sales initiatives, and represent the organization positively within the community.
- Ensure the execution of established internal operational protocols, guarantee compliance with all risk management and regulatory initiatives, evaluate the center's operational efficiency, and implement adjustments to enhance efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction, while resolving escalated client concerns.
- Contribute to and advocate for broader organizational and corporate initiatives, consistently communicate with staff and stakeholders in support of the organization's strategic objectives, guide the center team through organizational changes, collaborate with the commercial segment, support business planning, promote cultural initiatives, and participate in relevant focus groups and task forces as needed.
Qualifications
Education
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is required.
Experience
A minimum of 5 years in Banking, Financial Services, or Sales is required.
At least 3 years of experience in leading Sales, Operations, or Risk Management is required.
Other Duties as Assigned by Manager
This role may encompass additional responsibilities as assigned by management. Every employee is responsible for understanding and adhering to all company compliance programs, regulations, and policies, ensuring that all compliance training is completed on time. This includes recognizing and addressing compliance risks that may affect their department and escalating such risks to the appropriate management level.
Pay Transparency
To enhance transparency for candidates, we disclose base salary ranges in all job postings. Salary ranges are determined based on the position, function, and responsibilities, benchmarked against similar companies in our industry. Compensation will be influenced by factors such as the candidate's expertise, skills, experience, and relevant credentials. Salary ranges may vary based on geographic location.
Additional Compensation Components
This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive compensation plan based on individual and company performance.
