Overview

The Financial Center Manager role is responsible for overseeing operations at a designated Financial Center.

The main duty of this position is to lead and manage the operations, personnel, and business performance of a specific Financial Center location. The individual will formulate and execute the Center's sales and service strategies to provide an exceptional customer experience, initiate, retain, and expand profitable customer relationships within the existing clientele and the surrounding community, align with Consumer Business and Corporate objectives, and comply with operational risk, compliance, and regulatory standards. Level II Managers will operate in Financial Centers that necessitate a greater degree of scope and complexity compared to Level I Managers, including a focus on external business development within the market to achieve optimal growth and profitability for the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Organize, delegate, and assess the work of staff, recruit and select candidates, provide mentorship and coaching, set individual goals and objectives, monitor volume, workflow, and quality, manage performance including conducting performance evaluations, recommend compensation adjustments, collaborate with Human Resources to address employment-related matters.
  • Design and execute the Financial Center's business strategy to drive the efforts of the Financial Center Sales and Service team to meet established targets for new and existing clients, oversee the application of the Sales Management Process, and assess individual and collective progress.
  • Establish and maintain knowledge and connections within the local community, engage individuals, local small enterprises, business groups, and community organizations, identify and explore business banking opportunities, develop and implement marketing strategies for Financial Center products and services, actively participate in sales engagements and initiatives, and represent the organization positively within the local community.
  • Supervise the implementation of established internal operational processes and procedures, ensure compliance with all risk management and regulatory initiatives, evaluate the operational efficiency of the Center and make necessary adjustments to maximize efficiency, profitability, and deliver an optimal customer experience, and resolve escalated customer concerns.
  • Contribute to and promote broader business and corporate initiatives, consistently communicate with staff and other stakeholders in support of the organization's strategic goals, guide the Center team through organizational changes, collaborate with the Commercial segment, support business planning, advocate for cultural initiatives, and participate in designated focus groups and task forces as needed.


Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field. (Required)

Experience

A minimum of 5 years in Banking, Financial Services, or Sales. (Required)

At least 3 years in a leadership role in Sales, Operations, or Risk Management. (Required)

Other Duties as Assigned by Manager

This role may encompass additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager. Every employee is accountable for understanding and acting on the contents of all Company-assigned and/or job-related Compliance Programs, regulations, and policies, ensuring completion of all Compliance Training assignments by established deadlines. This includes, but is not limited to, recognizing and identifying compliance risks affecting their department(s), ensuring adherence to applicable laws or regulations, and escalating compliance risks to the appropriate management level.

Pay Transparency

To enhance transparency for candidates, we disclose base salary ranges in all job postings. We establish standard salary ranges for our roles based on the position, function, and responsibilities, benchmarked against similarly sized organizations in our industry. Specific compensation will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

The salary range for this position is $59,000 to $99,800 annually.

Additional Compensation Components

This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive compensation plan based on individual and company performance.
