Position Overview:
We are seeking to fill two (2) full-time positions for the role of Relationship Banking Specialist II.

Role Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver an exceptional customer experience to all clients visiting the branch. This includes assisting with account management and transactional requirements, while also promoting and cross-selling various banking products and services. Additionally, support will be provided to fellow team members across the Branch and Department as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively promote and identify opportunities to cross-sell banking products and services.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience to all branch clients.
  • Professionally manage customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring resolution at the branch level to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Execute all necessary transactions to fulfill customer needs, including account servicing and teller functions:
  1. Processing client transactions
  2. Ordering and servicing debit cards
  3. Setting up and servicing online banking (as applicable)
  4. Managing printed check orders
  5. Handling branch cash ordering and shipping (as applicable)
  6. Conducting branch certifications (as assigned)
  7. Processing stop payments
  8. Managing holds
  9. Handling Reg. E claims
  10. Opening, closing, and servicing safe deposit boxes (as assigned)
  • Exhibit proficiency in compliance regulations relevant to account servicing, ensuring proper account titling and ownership to mitigate risks:
  1. Bank Secrecy Act
  2. Customer Information Program
  3. Beneficial Ownership
  4. Office of Foreign Asset Control
  5. Trust Account documentation
  6. Fiduciary Account documentation
  • Participate in ongoing training and achieve satisfactory ratings on all regulatory compliance audits.
  • Adhere to reporting and recordkeeping requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering laws, OFAC, and CIP regulations.
  • Follow all policies and procedures related to regulatory compliance laws and regulations.
  • Independently manage complex or non-routine operational issues when feasible, while recognizing when to seek management support.
  • Ensure the branch operates in a safe and effective manner.
  • Maintain reliable and regular attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Able to collaborate with colleagues, adhere to established procedures, and accept constructive feedback.
  • Working knowledge of banking products and systems to facilitate cross-selling.
  • Thorough understanding of banking regulations, particularly BSA.
  • Accurate cash handling skills.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Preferred: Six months of branch banking experience.
  • Required: Minimum six months of cash handling experience.

Work Environment:
Standard office environment with moderate noise levels.

Compensation: $19.00 to $23.50 per hour, based on skills, experience, and location.
