Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional to take on the role of Grants Project Specialist. This position is integral to the management and coordination of cybersecurity initiatives and training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and facilitate cybersecurity training sessions and related projects.
  • Develop and implement outreach strategies and public awareness campaigns focused on cybersecurity.
  • Act as a liaison for intelligence sharing among partners.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to foster collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Enhance the department's presence and engagement within the community.
  • Serve as the main contact for establishing and nurturing public/private partnerships.
  • Organize and manage regular departmental meetings.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation relevant to departmental operations, including standard operating procedures and memorandums of understanding.
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Justice grant requirements and reporting protocols.
  • Manage ongoing grant funding processes, including quarterly reports and budget adjustments.
  • Coordinate with the Central Management Office on grant-related matters.
  • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities aligned with task force objectives.
  • Handle travel arrangements and scheduling for task force activities.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree and demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information technology concepts effectively. Candidates must be capable of working independently, managing multiple tasks, and maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
