Job Overview

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated individual for a vehicle engineering role that offers significant growth opportunities. This position is integral to the vehicle integration attribute team, which focuses on fulfilling essential requirements and delivering top-tier vehicles to our clients. The role involves early identification of issues through digital and physical testing, as well as leading cross-functional teams to address system-wide challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee vehicle program teams to ensure compliance with water management (WM) standards, including water wading, car wash protocols, water runoff, and under-hood water management.
  • Perform CAD evaluations to confirm that initial designs align with water management specifications.
  • Execute vehicle-level assessments to approve vehicle programs during the prototype phase.
  • Lead cross-disciplinary teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during CAD evaluations or physical assessments.
  • Report on attribute status during vehicle program milestones.
  • Identify root causes and address water-related quality concerns.
  • Comprehend customer expectations, document lessons learned, enhance processes, and adjust requirements as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in automotive engineering, including internships.
  • A strong enthusiasm for vehicles, with a solid understanding of automotive systems.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to independently manage complex issues and make prompt decisions.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks while prioritizing effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create presentations that clearly convey key points.
  • Experience in cross-functional leadership, project management, and systems engineering is preferred.

Educational Background:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher; a master's degree is highly desirable.
