Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated engineering professional to join our team at Optimal Inc. in a role focused on water management within vehicle systems. This position offers a unique opportunity for growth and development in a dynamic environment, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring our vehicles meet the highest standards of water management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee vehicle program initiatives to fulfill water management specifications, including water wading, car wash performance, water runoff, and under-hood water control.
  • Perform CAD evaluations to confirm that initial designs align with water management criteria.
  • Execute comprehensive vehicle tests to validate programs during the prototype phase.
  • Lead interdisciplinary teams to address challenges identified during CAD assessments or physical evaluations.
  • Communicate attribute progress during vehicle program milestones.
  • Diagnose and rectify water-related quality concerns.
  • Gather customer feedback, document insights, enhance processes, and adjust requirements as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in automotive engineering, including internships.
  • A strong enthusiasm for automotive systems, with a solid understanding of vehicle mechanics.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and the ability to navigate complex issues independently.
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create clear presentations that highlight key points.
  • Experience in cross-functional leadership, project management, and systems engineering is advantageous.

Educational Background:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher; a Master’s degree is highly preferred.
