Civil Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at Robson Forensic. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for performing investigations and analyses, preparing reports, and providing expert testimony in civil litigation and insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead land development and site/civil/heavy construction project management teams
• Conduct site inspections and investigations to identify causes of construction-related issues
• Prepare detailed reports and expert testimony for court cases and insurance claims
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement construction management strategies
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
• 15+ years of hands-on experience in land development and/or site/civil/heavy construction project management
• Experience with safety requirements and issues on construction sites
• Ability to safely climb and navigate ladders, roofs, scaffolding, etc. as needed for inspection activities
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills
