Job Description

**Position Overview**

Zobility is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Development Engineer to join our team as a Vehicle Integration Specialist. This is a career opportunity on our vehicle integration attribute team, responsible for meeting critical requirements and delivering best-in-class vehicles to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a vehicle program team to meet water management requirements, including water wading, car wash, water run-off, and under hood water management.
  • Conduct CAD checks to ensure early design meets water management requirements.
  • Conduct vehicle level tests to sign off vehicle programs during the vehicle prototype phase.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to resolve issues identified during CAD checks or physical tests.
  • Present attribute status at vehicle program milestones.
  • Identify root cause and resolve water-related quality issues.
  • Understand customer expectations, document lessons learned, improve processes, and revise requirements as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of automotive engineering experience, including internships, with a passion for cars and/or trucks, and an understanding of how car and truck systems work.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and the ability to independently handle complex issues and make quick decisions.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and understand priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex information quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cross-functional leadership, project management, and systems engineering.

Education

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from top universities with a 3.0 or higher GPA; a master's degree is strongly desired.
