Position Summary
We are currently seeking a contract Vehicle Attribute Engineer to join our client’s team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to contribute to the development of high-quality vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compensation: $38-44 per hour
  • Engage in vehicle engineering tasks with opportunities for professional growth.
  • Collaborate with the vehicle integration attribute team to ensure compliance with critical specifications and deliver superior vehicles.
  • Identify potential issues early through digital and physical testing, leading cross-functional teams to address cross-system challenges.
  • Oversee vehicle program teams to fulfill water management requirements, including water wading, car wash, and under-hood water management.
  • Perform CAD evaluations to confirm early designs meet water management standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle tests to validate programs during the prototype phase.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues identified during CAD assessments or physical evaluations.
  • Present attribute progress at vehicle program milestones.
  • Investigate root causes and address water-related quality concerns.
  • Document customer expectations, learn from experiences, enhance processes, and adjust requirements as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0; a Master's degree is highly preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in automotive engineering, including internships.
  • Strong passion for automotive systems and a solid understanding of vehicle mechanics.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to independently manage complex issues and make timely decisions.
  • Skilled in multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create concise presentations that highlight key points.
  • Experience in cross-functional leadership, project management, and systems engineering is advantageous.
