Job Summary

Zobility is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vehicle Integration Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our vehicle integration attribute team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our vehicles meet critical requirements and deliver best-in-class performance to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Vehicle Program Team: Manage a team of engineers to meet water management requirements, including water wading, car wash, water run-off, and under hood water management.
  • CAD Checks: Conduct thorough CAD checks to ensure early design meets water management requirements.
  • Vehicle Level Tests: Conduct vehicle level tests to sign off vehicle programs during the vehicle prototype phase.
  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to resolve issues identified during CAD checks or physical tests.
  • Attribute Status Presentation: Present attribute status at vehicle program milestones.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Identify root cause and resolve water-related quality issues.
  • Customer Expectation Understanding: Understand customer expectations, document lessons learned, improve processes, and revise requirements as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-5 years of automotive engineering experience, including internship, with a passion for cars and/or trucks, and a strong understanding of car and truck systems.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated strong leadership skills and the ability to independently handle complex issues and make quick decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex information quickly and effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Experience in cross-functional leadership, project management, and systems engineering is preferred.
Education
  • Education Requirements: Minimum bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from top universities with a 3.0 or higher GPA; Master's degree is strongly desired.

  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid work arrangement, with a mix of remote and onsite work depending on projects.
