Position Overview:

  • The position involves early identification of issues through digital and/or physical testing, along with leading cross-functional teams to address complex system challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide the vehicle program team to achieve water management (WM) standards, including water wading, car wash, water runoff, and under-hood water management.
  • Perform CAD evaluations to ensure that initial designs comply with water management criteria.
  • Execute vehicle-level assessments to approve vehicle programs during the prototype stage.
  • Lead cross-disciplinary teams to resolve challenges identified during CAD evaluations or physical assessments.
  • Communicate attribute status during vehicle program milestones.
  • Identify root causes and address water-related quality concerns.
  • Comprehend customer expectations, document lessons learned, enhance processes, and adjust requirements as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of experience in automotive engineering, including internships; a passion for automotive systems is essential.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to independently tackle complex issues and make swift decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while prioritizing effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the capability to create presentations that clearly convey key points.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in cross-functional leadership, project management, and systems engineering is advantageous.

Educational Background:
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher; a master's degree is highly preferred.
