The Bartech Group Inc is a prominent staffing firm specializing in engineering and technical recruitment, partnering with some of the largest corporations in the industry. We are currently seeking a contract Vehicle Attribute Engineer to join our client’s team.
Key Responsibilities
- Compensation: $38-44 per hour
- Engage in vehicle engineering tasks with opportunities for professional growth within the vehicle integration attribute team, ensuring that all critical requirements are met to deliver top-tier vehicles to clients.
- Oversee vehicle program teams to fulfill water management (WM) requirements, including aspects such as water wading, car wash protocols, and under-hood water management.
- Perform CAD evaluations to verify that initial designs comply with water management standards.
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle-level testing to validate vehicle programs during the prototype phase.
- Lead cross-functional teams to address challenges identified during CAD assessments or physical evaluations.
- Present attribute progress at key vehicle program milestones.
- Identify root causes and resolve quality issues related to water management.
- Understand client expectations, document lessons learned, enhance processes, and adjust requirements as necessary.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher; a master’s degree is highly preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in automotive engineering, including internships.
- A strong passion for automotive systems, with a solid understanding of how vehicle systems operate.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to independently manage complex issues and make prompt decisions.
- Capable of multitasking and prioritizing effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create clear presentations to convey key points.
- Experience in cross-functional leadership, project management, and systems engineering is advantageous.
