Position Overview:

The Senior Vice President, Consultant Engagement will be accountable for implementing our consultant relations strategy and cultivating partnerships with leading consulting firms, including Mercer, Aon, and WTW. This role involves educating stakeholders on the EDH value proposition and unique offerings for SurgeryPlus and Cancer Care Direct, while concurrently gathering insights and feedback to refine our messaging and support for our consultant partners. This individual will collaborate closely with sales and account management teams on relevant consultant-led client growth and expansion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing relationships at both national and local levels to influence and educate the intellectual capital perspective while driving local business referrals.
  • Creating tailored content in collaboration with the marketing and sales enablement teams that addresses consultants' needs.
  • Raising awareness in the marketplace regarding the category (surgery COEs and cancer support) and guiding evaluations of solutions in this domain.
  • Expanding business opportunities by increasing the number of proposals and enhancing EDH's success rate with each consulting firm.
  • Identifying areas for improvement within and beyond the consulting relations framework and addressing these opportunities as appropriate.
  • Fostering strong cross-functional relationships by collaborating closely with sales, account management, marketing, network, member services, and other related functions to ensure a unified approach.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in healthcare benefits consulting, particularly with large/jumbo employer clients, and established credibility across one or more of the top three national firms.
  • Ability to influence client perspectives and decisions through a thoughtful, data-driven approach supported by real-world experiences.
  • Experience in consultative sales or business development.
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
