Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of the strategic vision to foster a culture of safety, sustainability, and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with commercial and logistics teams to achieve both annual and long-term operational goals.
- Oversee the efficiency of plant operations and the management of heavy mobile equipment to ensure optimal production quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement tactical and strategic initiatives that yield sustainable results in production, mine planning, and maintenance.
- Identify and manage opportunities for acquisitions and mergers to expand our operational footprint.
- Enhance company policies and operational procedures to align with industry best practices.
- Monitor financial performance through activity reports and adjust objectives based on current operational conditions.
- Evaluate and mentor management staff to cultivate future leaders within the organization.
- Represent the organization in legislative sessions and committee meetings at local and state levels.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the industry, particularly in management roles.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial management, including P&L statements and budgeting.
- Extensive knowledge of the aggregates sector, including customer relations and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with digital transformation and sustainable practices in the construction materials sector.
- Proven track record in safety management, employee development, and team leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or additional advanced education and certifications.
- Strong industry connections, including involvement in trade associations.
- Experience across multiple product lines such as aggregates, hot-mix asphalt, and ready-mix concrete.
Work Environment:
This role primarily operates in a professional office setting but requires frequent visits to manufacturing sites and job locations, which may involve exposure to various environmental conditions.
