Overview

Pyramid Systems, Inc. is in search of a Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Architect who is proactive and capable of thriving in a remote work setting. This role involves delivering expert services and support to clients in the realms of Cybersecurity and Risk Management.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and validation scans for remediation efforts.
  • Apply knowledge of layered defense strategies and zero trust methodologies.
  • Lead the Cybersecurity Engineering team, overseeing initial baseline assessments and ongoing evaluations, identifying, containing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems Management, or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity.
  • Possession of an active DoD Clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience serving federal clients as a Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Expertise in the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level cyber defense strategies to thwart advanced cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Strong understanding of layered defense and zero trust principles.
  • Familiarity with the lifecycle of network threats, attack vectors, and exploitation techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer network theory and IT standards, including the Open System Interconnection (OSI) model and associated exploitation methods.
  • Experience with the configuration and deployment of industry-standard cyber defense tools, such as web content filters, email security systems, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Host-Based Security Systems (HBSS), Security Event and Incident Management (SEIM), DNS security protocols, advanced log analysis, network monitoring, packet capture analysis, network proxies, firewalls, antivirus solutions, and access control lists.
