As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be instrumental in guiding the transformation of our existing legacy payment system into a cloud-native framework, utilizing cutting-edge cloud technologies and industry best practices. This role involves close collaboration with diverse teams, including software developers, system architects, and product stakeholders, to outline and execute the new architecture for our payment solutions. The Architect will also champion the integration of DevOps methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring efficient integration and deployment workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remain informed about emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry developments pertinent to payment systems and cloud infrastructure.
  • Architect and develop microservices-oriented solutions employing domain-driven design principles.
  • Leverage Kubernetes for effective container orchestration and management, ensuring the scalability, dependability, and high availability of the payment solutions.
  • Establish comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to maintain optimal system performance and uptime.
  • Create highly resilient and available components for the payment infrastructure.
  • Conduct evaluations of technologies and provide insights on new tools, technologies, and frameworks that can enhance our payment systems.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with Kubernetes (K8S) is essential.
  • Minimum of 5 years in reengineering large-scale monolithic applications into cloud-native architectures.
  • At least 5 years of programming experience in languages such as Java or Python, along with familiarity with modern frameworks and libraries.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in the payment sector.
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including exposure to serverless architectures, containers, and orchestration.
  • 2+ years of experience with payment industry standards, protocols, and security best practices.
