Overview:

PingWind is on the lookout for a Salesforce Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting our Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Solutions Delivery Center of Excellence (COE) contract work.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop applications and solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Refine and articulate business requirements, aligning them with Salesforce functionalities.
  • Write code using Salesforce programming languages (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components) and create integrations with backend systems.
  • Lead the development and testing of Mulesoft applications for internal and external Salesforce integrations.
  • Oversee the development lifecycle from design through testing, release, and operations & maintenance.
  • Review and guide the solutions and code produced by team members.
  • Engage in the Salesforce Center of Excellence.
  • Conduct testing as part of the release process.
  • Troubleshoot user issues and resolve bugs effectively.
  • Assist in creating comprehensive documentation for users and teams.
  • Utilize advanced problem-solving skills to address software and application challenges.
  • Adhere to established Salesforce development standards and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • 8 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Proficient in Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud design and implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience with Mulesoft.
  • Strong background in Salesforce platform programming languages (Apex, JavaScript).
  • Experience in developing APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working within Agile scrum teams.
  • Web application development skills, including JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
  • Salesforce Certifications and Trailhead Badges are a plus.
  • Architectural experience is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a Technical Lead role.
  • 3 years of web application development experience, including JavaScript, CSS, or HTML5.
  • Ability to support prototyping using InVision or similar wireframing tools.
  • Certifications in Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Dev I, Lightning Component Framework, Developer, or Admin.
  • Familiarity with Pega, Microsoft Power Platform, or ServiceNow.
  • Experience in Federal Salesforce programs.
  • Experience collaborating with Human Centered Design teams.
  • Proficient in MYSQL, Apex, and VisualForce.
  • Working knowledge of MavensMate or Eclipse.
