Mission Overview:
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) FAST initiative aims to deliver comprehensive, enterprise-level application development services. VMD Corp plays a vital role in this mission by providing expertise in Application Development, Production Support, Program Management, and continuous process improvement.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
As a SharePoint Solutions Architect, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Utilizing Agile methodologies to design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software solutions.
  • Troubleshooting production issues related to software applications.
  • Researching, testing, and coordinating the integration of new products based on client specifications.
  • Designing and developing new software products or significant enhancements to existing systems.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of system changes post-deployment.
  • Addressing challenges related to systems integration, compatibility, and multi-platform environments.
  • Collaborating with project teams and end users to gather application requirements.
  • Conducting feasibility analyses for potential future projects.
  • Assisting in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages and testing tools.
  • Resolving software-related issues and responding to enhancement suggestions.
  • Contributing to the development of user manuals and technical documentation.
Qualifications for Success:
  • Hands-on experience as a SharePoint Developer (versions 2016, 2013, 2010).
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint, including management of large lists and libraries.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and SSRS Report Designer.
  • Familiarity with jQuery and other JavaScript frameworks.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of recent experience in developing and implementing SharePoint solutions.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment for at least four (4) years.
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to collaborate with product owners to interpret feature requests and develop software iteratively.
  • Experience using JavaScript to design and test software components for government systems.
  • Proficiency in integrating code into a continuous integration pipeline for immediate feedback.
  • Capability to develop and expand unit and integration tests for automated feedback.
Basic Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience Substitution: Additional years of experience cannot substitute for the degree requirement.
  • Desired Certification: Agile certification.
  • Overall Experience: Minimum of four (4) years.
  • Specific Experience: Minimum of four (4) years in the field.
  • Clearance Requirement: Public Trust clearance.
  • Work Status: Must be a US Citizen.
