Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Lines Inside Sales Representative to join our team at Satanoff Insurance & Financial Services. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing our commercial book of business by maximizing the insurance sales process and applying these strategies daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Call on all incoming new business leads, lost business, unsold quotes, and monoline business for account rounding
    • Attend networking activities and build relationships with centers of influence
    • Market all accounts and present proposals
    • Place business according to the goals of the agency
  • Customer Service and Relationship Building:
    • Stop, listen, and ask questions of customers to clearly understand their needs and build solid relationships
    • Identify training needs with assistance from managers and develop a personal improvement plan
  • Process and Efficiency:
    • Follow the new business sales process and maintain a closing ratio of over 70%
    • Use the management system as directed by the agency owner and update notes
    • Respond to all account manager questions and/or emails within 24 hours
  • Teamwork and Collaboration:
    • Work with the marketing and branding team to provide business cards and suggest blog, email, and social media topics
    • Participate in pictures and agency branding opportunities when invited
  • Professional Development:
    • Participate in ongoing professional development and training
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of sales experience
  • Property & Casualty License (Good to have)
