Role Objective: The primary goal of the Commercial Lines Inside Sales Executive is to enhance the commercial insurance portfolio by effectively managing the sales process. This includes engaging with incoming leads, addressing lost business opportunities, and converting unsold quotes into policies. The individual in this role will also participate in networking events and foster relationships with key community stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets by securing new business policies each quarter.
- Conduct weekly outreach to lost business accounts.
- Follow up on unsold quotes approaching renewal.
- Engage with monoline accounts for comprehensive reviews and opportunities for policy expansion.
- Prepare and present proposals for all accounts.
- Align business placements with agency objectives.
- Develop strong client relationships through active listening and understanding of their needs.
- Identify personal development needs and create a plan for ongoing skill enhancement.
Sales Process Management:
- Maintain a closing ratio exceeding 70% by responding to new inquiries promptly.
- Follow up on new web leads with multiple calls.
- Ensure all outbound calls are completed weekly.
- Utilize a systematic approach for follow-ups on quotes.
- Update agency management systems regularly to reflect current prospects and activities.
Retention and Relationship Building:
- Enhance client retention rates by providing exceptional service.
- Conduct follow-ups with new clients post-sale and at renewal.

- Collaborate with the marketing team by providing necessary materials for campaigns.

- Utilize the agency management system effectively to track client interactions.
- Respond to inquiries from account managers in a timely manner.
